i blog about my city, food, pop culture, art, politics (i'm liberal. libertarians can leave now), anxiety, spirituality, and my body. i have been called weird, a nerd, and a hipster. i am not a hipster (sincerity trumps being cool, and i am definitely a sincere nerd).
i like art, taking pictures of my food and my feet, music, sunshine, creating, reading, exploring, adventures, dancing, gastronomy, yoga, friendship, new boot goofin', yacht rock, pop culture, being ridiculous, zombies, bad horror films, the internet, being fabulous, being snarky, soup spoons, being nerdy, and drinking wine + champagne + gin.
leslie knope is my spirit animal.
in real life i am a photographer.
i miss: yoga, exercising regularly, having energy, not crying every day, eating three times a day, sleeping regular hours, the regular cause and effect of illness and treatment.
good things: jeff goldblum in anything, my jill bliss eco journal, sunlight, editing pictures, getting buffy trivia correct (pssh, like i wouldn’t), winning the triangle meatless mondays contest.
i saw my doctor last week for a non-mystery-illness-related problem, and he referred me to another rheumatologist. they called me with an opening at the end of march. so i get to go four days sooner than the appointment i was given in december. these next two months are an eternity. i feel like i’m waiting to die. so much for 25 being a good year.
